At first glance, it is evident that the two new models, CITROËN C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso, are styled with more sophistication and futuristic touches. A strong, assertive design and chevrons extend outwards to curve into the LED daytime running lights. The side view has a distinctive visual appeal through the roof arches. This signature highlights the spacious interior and large window area, underscoring the generous and welcoming cabin. The rear LED lights exude a very 3D and futuristic look, enhanced by a wrapround tailgate that conveys all the robustness and roominess of the boot for easier loading.
Like the previous model, the new CITROËN C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso also feature a large electric-powered panoramic glass roof and Zenith windscreen that contribute to a bright, spacious loft-inspired cabin. Passengers may also use the built-in sun blinds in row two to protect them from glare and heat on extra sunny days.
Ideal for roadtrips, roof rails are practical for families, especially when they need to mount their cargo or sports equipment for family outings and out-of-town road trips. The individual slide-back sun visors in the front row are also suitable for journeys under the sun.
The new CITROËN C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso are the first MPVs in their class to introduce a 7″ touchpad, complemented with a 12″ HD panoramic screen. All the in-car functions are within a finger’s reach on the 7” touchpad: dual-zone air conditioning, navigation, audio, telephone, driving aids, connected services etc. The 12” HD panoramic infotainment screen can also be personalised with a family photo at the background and configured to show essential driving information.
An easy and relaxed journey begins with the keyless access & start button. When parking in tight or challenging spaces, its reverse side tilt mirrors provide extra convenience for the one behind the wheel. The intensive+ variant of the new CITROËN Grand C4 Picasso boasts a Park Assist (Auto Park) with a 360-degree camera feature that intuitively detects obstacles surrounding the vehicle and allows the driver to ease into and out of tight roads or parking lots safely.
Highest torque of 270Nm/1,750rpm in its class with 5 years/100,000km warranty
The new CITROËN Grand C4 Picasso has the same length as its predecessor (4.59m) but its wheelbase has been stretched by approximately 11cm to 2.84m, the longest in the category. This provides segment-leading spaciousness in rows two and three, with removable or foldable third row seats and extra 40 litres of load volume (record boot capacity of 537 litres VDA), the largest boot space in its category.
The loft-inspired interior with an uncluttered ambience offers best-in-class comfort for each passenger. Thoughtfully designed, the cabin has sun blinds in the middle row to block off the glare for passengers during the day, and particularly useful when the kids are napping. The new CITROËN C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso also have aircraft-style trays in the second row, which are perfect for your child’s snack time or play time.
Another new innovation only available in the new CITROËN Grand C4 Picasso is the height-adjustable electric tailgate with anti-pinch function, which allows easier loading and unloading from the boot. The electric tailgate is height-adjustable, so drivers can set the height and the boot will open accordingly. The automatic opening and closing of the boot also facilitates easy loading and unloading of goods. For example, the driver would not need to press the key or manually open the boot to store groceries. It would automatically open or close with the press of a button located at the boot.
Both models are the only MPVs in their class with a removable centre console, which facilitates walkthrough to rear seats or changing of drivers on a highway for safety precaution. It also expedites the movement of the driver to the back row to ensure that the kids are properly buckled up, for instance.
The new CITROËN C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso are designed to provide all the space you need for your journeys. With storage spaces available under the front seats and in the doors, storage nets, trays on the back seats (with LED lighting) and the under-floor compartments in row two, you will always find a good spot to put aside essential items or knick-knacks needed for everyday use.
Designed for the tech savvy members of the family, a factory-fitted USB socket with iPod/iPad/iPhone connectivity can be used to provide extra entertainment on board. Self-controllable air-con vents on all 3 rows also make it easy for everyone to adjust the temperature to their liking. The child-watch safety mirror, built-in sun blinds in the middle row, and retractable cup holders in the rear rows also provide added convenience throughout the ride.
The new CITROËN Grand C4 Picasso offer seating arrangements of unparalleld flexibility, with independently adjustable seats in the second row that slide forward and back easily for greater access to the third row and for extra legroom. Both second and third row seats can also be folded and hidden for increased load capacity.
Parents behind the wheel will appreciate the child watch mirror, which keeps the kids in sight, while their eyes are on the road. The mirror also doubles up as a conversation mirror during long drives.
This 7-seater MPV is fitted with two front airbags, two side airbags in the backseat of the first row and two curtain airbags built into the roof. Plus, all 7 occupants can sit and ride securely, including the middle seat passengers in the second row.
Using sensors located at each corner, the blind spot monitoring system can detect a vehicle up to 3.5 metres on either side, corresponding approximately to the width of a traffic lane, and up to five metres behind the rear bumper.
*Only available in the Intensive+ variant of the new CITROËN Grand C4 Picasso.
Park with confidence with the in-built Auto Park function, incorporating a 360-degree camera view (available only in the Intensive+ variant of the CITROËN Grand C4 Picasso) for a complete view of the car’s immediate environment. Using 4 cameras placed around the car, the driver can select a bird’s eye view, rear view, or panoramic front view that makes for easier manoeuvring, useful for getting in and out of tight parking spaces.
This safety feature holds the car steady for around two seconds when the driver releases the brake pedal, on slopes with a gradient of more than 3 degrees. This gives the driver ample time to transfer a foot to the accelerator pedal and start the car moving.
For a clearer and brighter drive at night or under challenging road conditions, allow these automatic headlights to light your way.
The CITROËN C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso e-HDi variants are mated to a 1.6L turbo-diesel engine (Stop&Start technology) with an all-new Efficient Tronic Gearbox (ETG), a clutchless manual that drives like an auto, and drivers can switch from manual to automated mode at any time. With the new ETG gearbox, drivers can expect the following:
All our CITROËN 1.6L turbo-diesel engines are fitted with the revolutionary e-HDiStop&Start technology that cuts carbon emissions by up to 15%. Best of all, CITROËN’s full range of Euro V diesel models still stays within Category A COE, and boasts the highest torque (270Nm @ 1,750rpm) in Category A, thus promising drivers greater savings with impeccable style that CITROËN cars are well-known for.
Built on a new, more efficient and light EMP2 platform for improved fuel economy and better handling, the new CITROËN Grand C4 Picasso is approximately 100kg lighter than its previous model to aid in better fuel economy and more optimised aerodynamics for better handling. The lower body height (4 cm lower than the previous generation) and reduced mass along with firmer suspension settings (springs and shock absorbers) have significantly reduced roll, while maintaining ride comfort.
